Founded in 1915, Warsaw University of Technology is Poland’s leading technical university, offering education across 19 faculties to more than 36,000 students. Highly ranked among Polish technical universities, WUT combines high-quality teaching with world-class research, and holds more than 120 international cooperation agreements with universities, research centres and industry across 50 countries. Within ERGO, the project is led by WUT’s Faculty of Physics, which brings extensive experience in e-learning, remote laboratories and earlier European projects introducing robotics into school education, such as RoboScientists and IoT4Schools.
As project coordinator, WUT is responsible for the overall management of ERGO and leads the design of the ERGO eCourse, the teacher webinars and the six-month online teacher training programme. WUT hosted the project’s kick-off meeting in Warsaw in December 2025 and will host the closing meeting at the end of the project.
